KANSAS CITY FREE THOUGHT
Human decency is not derived from religion. It precedes it. Christopher Hitchens
The Kansas City Metropolitan Area is home to a variety of robust organizations and individual bloggers dedicated to free thought. Additionally, groups exist in many cities outside of the metropolitan area and in the high schools, colleges and universities in the region. National groups further enhance free thought opportunities. If you are a secular humanist, atheist, agnostic, skeptic or other freethinker or just want to learn more, most of the groups will welcome you to share in their activities. Find links to them in the catagory links below:
If you are in the Kansas City area and operate a blog dealing with free thought issues or know of one that is not listed and you would like it added, or, if you are the owner of one of the listed blogs and you would like the description of your blog changed, please send an email request to Greg with all pertinent information. Descriptions should not be longer than three or four lines.
